Paweł Świątek

Paweł Świątek graduated from the faculty of drama direction at the National Academy for Theatre Arts in Kraków, where he studied under Krystian Lupa and Mikołaj Grabowski.He was awarded grants by the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage three times, and a scholarship by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education in 2013.While he was a student, he taught contemporary monologue at Lart Studio in Kraków,as well as working as assistant to Prof. Adam Nawojczyk, Jerzy Stuhr, Wojciech Klemm, Maja Kleczewska and René Pollesch.Since 2013, he has been working full time in Wrocławwhere he has prepared numerous performances including several projects abroad.He has directed plays at Teatr Polski in Wrocław and Opole, the Narodowy Stary Teart in Kraków and the Jaracza Theatre in Łódź.His interpretation of “The Manuscript Found in Saragossa” earned him the team prize at the 34th Opole Theatre Confrontations “Polish Classics”.He has also won several prizes for his spectacle “Paw Królowej” staged at Narodowy Stary Teatr in Kraków.
