Piotr Kwinta

Polish lyric baritone. In 2009, he graduated from the Mieczysław Karłowicz's Music School in Kraków in the violin class of Renata Sperka-Bernacka, and in 2015 from the Academy of Music in Kraków with a major in opera singing, under the supervision of Prof. Jacek Ozimkowski (recital diploma with honours). During his studies, he participated in numerous courses under the guidance of Ryszard Karczykowski, Marek Rzepka, Eva Blahová, Richard Cross, Piotr Kusiewicz, Mariusz Kwiecień and Michał Znaniecki. He cooperated with Rafał Jacek Delekta, Sebastian Perłowski, Tomasz Chmiel, Eric Ochsner, Frank Strobel, Laco Adamik, Paweł Łukaszewski and Hartmut Rohde, among others. In 2014, he sang the title role in “Le nozze di Figaro”, and in 2015 he took part in “Opera Unlimited” at the Kraków Opera. At the Festival Wratislavia Cantans 2016, he performed the solo part in György Ligeti’s “Aventures” and “Nouvelles Aventures”. At the Musical Salon of Polish Radio Choir in Villa Decius in Kraków, he performed “Mijanie”, two songs for baritone and piano by Paweł Łukaszewski. He sang as a soloist at the Film Music Festival in Krakow. Since January 2018, Piotr is a singer of Capella Cracoviensis.
