Łukasz Klimczak

Baritone, graduate of the Academy of Music in Wrocław in the vocal class of Prof. Bogdan Makal and Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London in the vocal class of Prof. Rudolf Piernay. He participated in the Opera Academy at the Wielki Theatre in Warsaw. The artist also performed at the Barbican Hall in London with a recital of Russian songs. He works with Capella Cracoviensis, with whom he performed the Vilnius version of “Halka” at the Opera Rara Festival. He made his debut at the Silesian Opera as Mercutio in Charles Gounod’s production of “Romeo et Juliette” under the baton of Bassem Akiki, he also appeared as Nardo in Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's “La finta giardiniera”. The singer works with the Wrocław Opera, where he performs the parts of Bardos in Wojciech Bogusławski's opera “Cud mniemany, czyli Krakowiacy i Górale” and Maximilian in Leonard Bernstein’s “Candide”. He played the role of Orpheus in the “Orfeo & Majnun” performance at Brussels’ La Monnaie and at the Festival d'Aix-en-Provence.
