Joanna Radziszewska-Sojka

Joanna Radziszewska-Sojka graduated with honours from the Academy of Music in Krakow in the solo singing class of Prof. Monika Swarowska-Walawska (2014). In 2016-2017, she studied singing with Peter Kooij and Katharina Rössner-Stütz at the Faculty of Early Music in Hochschule für Künste Bremen. She won the 3rd International Early Music Vocal Competition “Canticum Gaudium”. She gives concerts in Poland and abroad, accompanied by early music ensembles and orchestras. She had the opportunity to perform under the baton of Marc Minkowski, Joshua Rifkin, Rinaldo Alessandrini, Robert Hollingworth, Vincent Dumestre and Fabio Bonizzoni. She sung numerous parts, including Belinda in Henry Purcell’s “Dido and Aeneas” and “The Fairy Queen”, Barbarina in Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s “Le nozze di Figaro” at the Krakow Opera, as well as Marzia in Johann Adolf Hasse’s “Arminio” with {oh!} Orkiestra Historyczna. In 2018, she sung the part of Megacles in Antonio Vivaldi’s opera “L'Olimpiade” under the baton of Rinaldo Alessandrini and accompanied by the Wrocław Baroque Orchestra.
