Slovakian soprano Adriana Kučerová studied at the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava and the Conservatoire national supérieur musique et danse de Lyon. In 2005, she won the International Hans Gabor Belvedere Singing Competition in Vienna. At the Ravenna Festival, she sang Mozart’s “Vesperae solennes de confessore” and “Exsultate, jubilate” conducted by Riccardo Muti. She performed also at the Salzburg Mozartwoche, Salzburg Festival in “La finta giardiniera” conducted by Ivor Bolton, and Teatro alla Scala as Frasquita in “Carmen” under the baton of Daniel Barenboim. She sang Sophie in a new production of “Werther” at Bayerische Staatsoper, Ninetta in “La finta semplice” in Vienna as well as Adina and Nanetta in “Falstaff” with Glyndebourne Festival Opera. She debuted as Gretel in “Hänsel und Gretel” at Glyndebourne, conducted by Kazushi Ono. She performed at Teatro alla Scala, Munich State Opera, Wiener Staatsoper, Deutsche Oper and Deutsche Staatsoper in Berlin, Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, New Israeli Opera Tel Aviv, Theater an der Wien and BBC Proms in London. She has worked with world renowned conductors such as Riccardo Muti, Ivor Bolton, Daniel Barenboim, Gustavo Dudamel, Christoph Eschenbach, Vladimir Jurowski, Nikolaus Harnoncourt, Kent Nagano, Jean-Christophe Spinosi and Kazushi Ono.
